Dear Vendors,
This
year’s Okanogan River Garlic Festival is Friday, August 15th – 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm
and Saturday, August 16th –
10:00 am until 5:00 pm. We have a lot of entertainment planned for this
year, including live theater, several dance bands, and much, much more. You
are invited to participate in this fun-filled and profitable event!
Booth fees
for the 2008 season are: non-food vendors – $15 one day and $25 both
days for a 10x10 space or $45 for a 10x20. Food booths are $75 for a 10X20
space only. Only the 10x10 non-food booths will be considered for one day;
all others are for the two days of the Festival. These prices are the same
as last year’s fees. Set- up will begin at 9:00 am and not before.
Food vendors
must obtain a current Okanogan County Health permit and all vendors need to
be responsible for their own trash removal. The County Health
District’s phone number is: 422-7140.
There will be
a site map at the CCC information booth, so please check there to find out
where your placement will be for this year’s event. While we will
make every effort to place returning vendors where they were last year, the
final decision will be up to the coordinators. If you do have a preference
please indicate below. There is plenty of camping at the park where the
festival is held, for those of you who need to spend the night.
Keep in mind
that this is a Garlic Festival
and shoppers do come to purchase garlic related products. Last year
shoppers were looking for garlic jellies, garlic braids, garlic-y foods,
etc. We encourage you all to bring as many garlic related products as you
can!
Below is an
event application, which needs to be returned no later than August 10 to
ensure your space. There may be
vendors considered on the day of the event at a fee of $25/day – only
if room allows.
